Tipping the Velvet by Sarah Walters 

Set in Victorian London, *Tipping the Velvet* delves into the vibrant world of music hall theatre, following the journey of Nan, who falls in love with a male impersonator. The story traces her life through various phases in London, where she encounters a diverse array of people and communities. A romanticized exploration of LGBTQ+ themes set against the backdrop of Victorian society.
